Debating

Our School participates in the Soroptimist public speaking competition every year which takes place in November in Wexford town. In the build up to this competition, participants who are chosen via an internal heat meet with Miss Burke on a weekly basis to prepare their speech. We have had lots of success in recent years with three participants going ahead to the regional final. This year Amaya Gellego won the local heat of the competition and will take part in the Leinster regional heat which will take place in Maynooth in January 2026.
