Other Areas of Learning

These are a student’s achievements and learning experiences outside of the classroom over their three years, which are not curriculum-related (usually three items are included). These can include items such as- 

– being a member of the School Choir group performing at the beginning of Year School Mass, Carol Services, Prize-Giving and other special events.

– showing Leadership by being on the Student Council

– Taking part and raising awareness during Multicultural Day/ Languages week, where she learned to appreciate and respect how various cultures, beliefs, values, and traditions contribute to school life.

– Participating in a Study Skills Course developing the skills to reflect and evaluate her own learning.

Other areas of Wellbeing 

These are a student’s achievements and learning experiences specifically about Wellbeing. Some examples of these can include items such as-

– completing a project on homelessness in CSPE.

– completing the CPR4Schools programme.  

– being a member of the basketball and camogie team being physically active, developing good relationships, enhancing her cooperative skills.
